This brick is in memory of my parents, Robert Winston Reddish (July 28, 1915 - January 1, 2006), and Evie Lee Lohr Reddish (January 4, 1916 - February 4, 2004. They were married on November 4, 1939, and lived in Aroda, Madison County. My mother’s family lived at 120 Byrd Street in Orange. They had two daughters: Janet Reddish Hyler and Barbara Reddish Tokar.
My father was part owner of Moore, Kelly, and Reddish, an earthmoving company. The business office was located at 115 Bellview Avenue in Orange. Does that sound familiar? That is where the Orange Baptist Church office is now located.
My father, Bob, and mother, Evie, were members of Good Hope Baptist Church in Radiant, Virginia, and very active in their church and community.
