Rick and Karen Clore served Orange Baptist Church as Pastor and spouse from October 2006 through December 2016. They worked with capable leaders and a responsive membership to act on God's visions to improve Orange Baptist Church's worship and education facilities, and to forge ahead with plans to use the church’s 28 acres west of Orange in ways that blesses the community.

As of 2024, this church property now has a large vegetable garden providing thousands of pounds of vegetables to the Orange Food Bank yearly, a peaceful grove of trees in which to relax, pray, picnic, and enjoy the views of the Blue Ridge Mountains, sports fields for use by the church and local school teams, and the site and plans for a large outdoor pavilion for future church and community activities.
